Join Nashville Pride's Enormous Gay Bar Crawl on Broadway, celebrating love and inclusivity. Check in between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to grab your event materials. You'll travel Nashville’s bars from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, enjoying live performances, sip specials, and delicious nourishment. Exact venues and deals are announced 1-2 weeks before the event. All ages can participate, but remember you must be 21+ to enter bars after 6:00 PM. Parking options include limited free spots and paid lots like those at 5th and Broadway. Have your ticket QR code ready for a lanyard and badge. Embrace the community spirit in Nashville's storied Pride tradition.

A Nashville gay bar is being forced out. That's one less safe space for LGBTQ people

Greggor Mattson, an Oberlin College professor, traveled across the United States to do research for his book “Who Needs Gay Bars? Bar-Hopping through America’s Endangered LGBTQ+ Places.”
He bluntly told readers in a guest opinion column for The Washington Post in 2023: “The data is clear: gay bars are closing.”
Mattson documented a 45% drop from 2022 to 2023 and provided a series of reasons, among them, dating apps that keep people at dwelling, displacement because of rising rents and mainstream acceptance of the LGBTQ-plus community.
However, in Nashville, a town the author did not visit for his book, there is a vibrant gay bar scene. But establishments have come and gone.
